We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard Foreman to help lead day-to-day operations in our lumber yard. If you enjoy working outdoors, leading a team, and supporting construction professionals and DIYers alike, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the inventory control and direct staff to identify and resolve inventory disputes to achieve an accurate inventory.
• Ensure products are stored safely and in proper place
• Schedule driver deliveries and driver support with correct materials for every load.
• Directs work assignments to employees
• Provide daily hands-on support in material handling and forklift responsibilities
• Participate in the hiring and training of all yard staff and drivers.
• Manage the truck and forklift maintenance logs and schedule PM and repairs as needed
• Manage scheduling calendar

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of professional delivery driver or lumberyard experience
• Forklift Certificate – train the trainer a plus
• Strong Time management, organizational, planning and self – motivation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Strong PC Skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
